Most of the time a window is just that, but when we moved into this japanese house the window was for all to come look to see what Americans were like. There were no curtains on the window for quite awhile as I had to sew them by hand, and so we had to get use to being the center of attention. It was nothing to turn around and see several adults or kids just standing there staring at us. And they were not a bit bashful either. It was an interesting experience and the people there were really friendly to us, so I guess we pasted inspection.
