While Dad was stationed in Iwakuni he decide to join the Drum and Bugle Corps, as they needed more men who could play an instrument. He had played the trumpet when he was younger and so it interested him. It was fun for Davey and I to go along to the different affairs and parades to see him play. He played both the drum and the bugle. I don't remember a lot of that time but have a couple pictures that I can add here.

This photo of david just squeezes my heart. He sure was a cute little guy. I wish so much I would have had the chance to spend some time with him....I bet you are so happy to have these photos...
